The stuff I find myself thinking…

I was pon­der­ing today the fact that in order to post com­ments of Mr. Gold­ings weblog one must be a reg­is­tered mem­ber of said weblog. Ever since this was made clear to me I’ve been going over var­i­ous ben­e­fits and pit­falls of mem­ber­ship of a weblog. Then I was struck by an inter­est­ing thought. Sup­pose the fol­low­ing (remem­ber kid­dys, this is not, nor may it ever be, how things are done here).
A mem­ber of my blog can see all the posts I make, while guests can only read the pub­lic entries. I could even take this fur­ther and rule spe­cif­ic entries as being okay for every­one except fam­i­ly to read…
This would be a form of self cen­sor­ship — but I would be cen­sor­ing what you see, not what I type…
