Where do the pens go?

Have you ever put a pen down and got­ten dis­tract­ed by some­one walk­ing into your office, or some­one ask­ing a ques­tion, or the pron­site you were broswing, and not real­ly paid much atten­tion to where you put the pen. Then nev­er been able to find it again.
I think I might have post­ed one today.
