Recently the majority of comments posted to my little blog here have been spam. The first time I saw this happen I was rather surprised. But I got over that. Spam gets into everything. Weblog spam is different to email spam. It is usually hand entered by so no good fool who thinks it will make them some money. Why would anyone think I would even tolerate a link to a viagra site? For some strange reason the spammers seem to keep trageting the same few entries. Mostly the first draft of my Bernice story. But thanks to the wonders of a little plug-in called MT-Blacklist, I usually know about any spam posts within an hour of them appearing and have deleted them. It also does a wonderful job of blocking spam posts completely.
