No, I’m not talk­ing about the vapor­ware ‘smart fridge’ con­cepts, but some­thing sim­ple, age old cook­ing uten­sils. Spat­u­las, whisks, oven gloves, cake molds all these and much more are now avail­able in heat prof sil­i­con. And they are tru­ly great, for we can now use a whisk in our non-stick fry-pans, we can clean the oven gloves in the dish­wash­er, our cakes and breads just slide out of there molds, no need to grease.
