A test of punctuation

Using the Smar­ty­Pants sys­tem for bet­ter punc­tu­a­tion:
— ‘sin­gle quotes’ should be curly, not straight.
— “dou­ble quotes” should be curly, not straight.
— en — and em — dash­es should be the right length.
— the … ellipses should be a sin­gle char­ac­ter, not just three full stops.
