Writing is a strange thing, and whilst I do not consider my self a writer it is a hobby I like to play with. Funny things happen when pen is put to paper. This story has for example changed its focus. It was originally intended to be a simply little story about an older Benny catching up with the Doctor for a chit-chat. But then a one off line that was mostly just thrown in as a joke (there being 14 other people aboard the TARDIS) has instead become an interesting idea worth exploring… but perhaps not it this story. The adventures of an unspecified Doctor and his 14 companions. Could it be done? Would it be interesting? Who these characters are and the subtleties of there interactions would be the main thrust of any story more than ‘yet-another-dalek-invasion’ ©.
