I like pasta because my house is made of brick

Well, this is what I’ve been up to at school, not the greatest design in the world, but good enough. And I really like the company name ‘cubular’ (said like tubular).
For reasons I can’t fathom, Rich finds this card design offensive, especially the ‘job titles’ I’ve given myself. I swear, you’d think the man has never heard of humor.
Yes, I know vagabond it spelt wrong. But this is me were talking about, why were you even surprised.

  1. I find the logo-ish moosh a bit distracting. (I like the little logos that accompany every post on this new blog though.) I hate the single letter highlighted by an extended part of the logo-ish moosh. I hate sans serif fonts on printed contact details. I understand why Rich doesn’t like the job titles. (“Ask me how!”)

  2. Distracting might be another way of saying eye-catching. The single highlighted letter works better in the printed form (which is the intended output). I couldn’t find a nicely rounded font (too resonate with the rounded rectangles) that also had serifs. And as this is a mook card and not one I am ever going to use the job titles didn’t need to be real.
But I’d love to hear your spin on it.
PS: do you think I should animate the little logos on the blog?

  3. The highlighted letter is such a nasty visual cliche, I think. And I don’t mean “eye catching” when I say “distracting”. Or use the word “moosh”. (A technical term, to be sure.) I mean it dominates the card and what it has to say isn’t pleasant. Screw harmonising with that. 🙂
BTW, what was this card created for?
Please, please don’t animate the little squares. I like the implicit movement in them.
