Ever wanted to create a Mondrian, but been too lazy to even open photoshop and draw some black lines and paint-bucket in some primary colours???
Well, never fear, just visit Mondrian Randomizer, and you too can have abstract art.

Metric system prefixes.
While searching the net for a list of the SI prefixes I found this, not only is the first mnemonic very funny, the rest of the sight looks like the thing any true geek should memorise for when trying to chat up a chic at a dance… or something.

Can’t you just wait to have a 2 ZHz computer with a 64 ZB hard drive and 256 Eb of ram?
And according to Moore’s Law (well, sort of) this sort of computer will be available in 2061. But as my Deathclock says I wont see out 2047, the best computer I can hope for is 2 EHz, 64 EB hard drive, 256 PB of ram.

Anyway, its there, use it however you like.
Galactic toss monkey
Okay, I couldn’t help myself, I saw the phrase Galactic toss monkey over at Alan’s blog and just had to help out. By now the original premisis is no longer true, but then that was the whole point.
Some times short is sweet

are infinity loops dangerous or just confusing???
Well, I’m bored, so I’ve just set the entry to ‘trackback’ to my first ever post… I wonder if this will cause the net-frag error (you know, where the internet wont work because you broke it into too many bits).
PS: I think ever blog in the world should trackback to every other blogs first ever post… or maybe there should be a blog of frist blog posts…
UPDATE: check it out The First.

Stor

I know, years after the site has died, I finally get around to making me a little Stor Trooper of my own.
I don’t have the staff yet, and the rose coloured glasses are metaphorical.
xml anyone?
For those that haven’t had to put up with me showing off my iPod, I’ve got a 20GB iPod, I’ve named him Epoch. He holds a hell of a lot of music for me (about 3000 tracks, or a shade over 8 days of constant music). He also carries around a bunch of other stuff for me, documents and the like.
Just recently I’ve gone and taught him a new trick, how to read an XML feed… so now I can (and do) read all my fav blogs while catching a bus or train.
Bit odd, but it works for me.
